About Clint

Clint was raised in Ohio. He is an only child with an unparalleled bond between him, his mother, and his adoring grandparents. His childhood was filled with childhood pranks from Grandma and Grandpa, daily adventures alongside mom, and special quality time with dad.

All of Clint’s family could not be happier when we shared our plans to adopt. They are already competing for who will be first to snuggle your little one!

Clint works as a high school social worker at a public school in New York City. He also spent the last several years completing his clinical residency in couples and family therapy. Clint hopes to soon open a private practice in the City.

As a social worker and therapist, Clint spends a large part of his day navigating trauma and crisis with students and clients. His gentle demeanor and listening ears will transfer to his role as a father and role model.

Words from Adam

Clint is my best friend he has the biggest heart of anyone I know he is loyal, warm and endlessly compassionate. He hates being the center of attention, but loves working tirelessly behind the scenes for people he loves.

He chooses his words carefully and makes those around him feel extremely taken care of, safe, and heard.

Clint taught yoga for years, loves color-guard, and performed in a modern dance company in Ohio, where he lived before moving to New York with me. He enjoys running, dancing, and exercise, and has recently become a bit of a fanatic for our daily fitness classes.

When Clint plays with our nephews, he is so natural and confident. When we pass children on the streets, his eyes get misty because his heart is so full of love, he can’t wait to be a dad, himself.

His calm, confident, consistent approach will make him an excellent father.

Adam

  • Grew up in Wisconsin.

  • Middle child, two sisters.

  • Uncle to two boys.

  • Very close with family.

  • Musician: pianist and Musical Director for Broadway musicals, touring, as well as in the City.

  • Work has taught him to be grounded and calm even in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.

About Adam

Adam grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin as a middle child, sandwiched between two sisters, Nicole and Jessica. Childhood was filled with costume parades, imaginary pirate forts, and endless silly made-up games.

As adults, the whole family is still very close. Everyone is excited about our prospect of adoption! Grandma and Grandpa are counting down the days they get to spoil your big addition to our family.

Adam works as a musician and was most recently an associate music director on Broadway. He feels very fortunate to have worked on numerous Broadway shows such as Beetlejuice, Wicked, and The Book of Mormon. He has traveled the country with several Broadway national touring productions.

Adam prides himself on staying grounded and calm in a work atmosphere that is fast-past and high-pressure. As a father, he. believes he will be cool and collected in different situations, focused and attentive while navigating stress, as well as optimistic and positive with day-to-day outlooks.

Words from Clint

I fell in love with Adam for all the same reasons that he will be a fantastic father. He is kind, generous, warm, supportive, loyal, imaginative, and loves to have fun. He has stood by my side, cheering me on, during some of my hardest moments, and I know that he will do the same for your child.

Although he is wildly talented, he does not take himself too seriously. He is incredibly smart, yet will put on a silly song and dance through the living room to cheer me up at a moment’s notice. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and will comfort and nurture your child through every twist and turn.

Adam is truly one-of-a-kind. I could not be more thrilled to watch him become a father. Most importantly, I cannot wait to witness your little one love him as much as I do.

How we met

A tale of three cities and a lot of performing arts!

Cincinnati

New York

Dayton

Wicked, The Musical

Modern Dance

Cincinnati • New York • Dayton • Wicked, The Musical • Modern Dance •

We met in 2014.

Adam was touring the country with Wicked, The Musical. He had attended University of Cincinnati for college.

Clint was working with a Modern Dance company and lived in Centerville, Ohio, but rehearsed in Cincinnati.

After meeting, we knew each other was special. Not only did we see each other as talented in the arts and intelligent, but we also saw that the other was genuinely a good, caring, and kind person.

In the spring of 2019 after FIVE YEARS of long-distance dating, we got married in Chicago, a middle-ground between our two hometowns.

We are delighted now to embark on our 8th year living in the City together.
